About the trail
Woodstock Cave is a large overhanging cave on the mountain above the suburb it is named after. From inside it you look straight out over the city, the harbour and the Cape Flats, with the Hottentots Holland mountains on the horizon on a clear day.
The path climbs through fynbos with a few steep stretches, and the paths split in places without signs, which is where a guide earns their keep. There is time in the cave to rest, have a snack and take the photo everyone takes.
What's included
- Professional mountain guide
- Safety briefing before we start
- Route planning and navigation on the trail
Distances and times are a guide. They change with the route, the weather and the group.
